Pearl Smith is a Supervisee in Social Work. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of NC Wilmington. She received her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University.
Her professional experience is vast. Pearl has experience working with children, teens, adults, and families. She has worked in the prison system, nursing homes, and psychiatric facilities, serving the needs of chronically mentally ill individuals. She enjoys collaborating with families while addressing the needs of children and teens.
Treatment approaches utilized are client-centered, cognitive behavior therapy, and solution-focused. Additionally, Pearl is willing to incorporate various therapeutic approaches as needed. Pearl’s specialties are ADD/ADHD, Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Depression, Grief and Loss. Pearl’s focus is helping others maximize their full potential.
Prior to finding her passion as a therapist, Pearl Smith served in the Marine Corps for 15 years.
